A Powerful Data Mining tool for the business user

ALICE d'ISoft V6.1 has been enriched by a data preparation module, new OLAP capabilities, new statistical and reporting plug-ins and new versions of deployment modules. It is the first Data Mining tool to integrate an OLAP engine and advanced dynamic data aggregation functions.

ALICE d'ISoft gives easy access to relational databases (such as Access 2000) via ODBC and OLE DB drivers, with full integration through its query tool which enables users to create queries on their relational databases, graphically and inside ALICE d'ISoft.

For optimal data preparation, ALICE d'ISoft allows new fields to be computed, so as to redress a population, to modify types, to discretize or to regroup data. It also provides advanced functions to handle dates, and automatically detect outlying values.

An OLAP module is integrated into ALICE d'ISoft. The analysis phase has been improved by integrating OLAP functionalities, allowing an easy use of aggregated formulas and dynamic cross tables for a swift and easy navigation in the data.

Wizards to assist you. ALICE d'ISoft 's conviviality has been enhanced thanks to wizards that accompany the user at each stage of the process.

ALICE/REPORT produces easy to understand reports, exportable in all desktop tools. An accomplished deployment of the model .

ALICE/CROSSTAB instantly calculates crossed tables for a population segment.

ALICE/CORRELATION dynamically computes the correlation between the different variables describing the population.

The main analysis window is divided into three panes: the Tree Pane, the On-line Graphics Pane and the Factors Pane.	ALICE features many data preparation tools, like the possibility of grouping symbolic values.	The interactive decision tree can display many pieces of information in its nodes, like the field to explain ratio, or the result of any formula. The nodes colors can also be controled by a formula.
You can draw any kind of chart.	The Correlation Plug-in dynamically shows the correlation between the field to explain and the other fields.	Crosstabs are dynamically calculated, for a quick result with as many fields as you want.
The Stat Plug-in displays all the descriptive statistics you need.	The Report Plug-in Wizard can easily generates many reporting items.	The reports created can be exported as .RTF files, and replayed with a new dataset.
With the Segment Plug-in, you can inject a new population in your decision tree model, and compare the results.
