Application
The client organism is a network of financial and savings
banks in France.
Concerns:
- The operations made by customers on the cash dispensers result
in financial compensations between banks. When a card carrier from
a different bank makes an operation on a cash dispenser, the bank
network gains 5 FF.
- Thus, a cash dispenser is profitable (after installation and
maintenance costs are deducted), only if it is used by enough card
carriers. Otherwise, it is a drain to the agency.
- The objective is to deploy the cash dispenser network by determining
the factors that influence their yield, and choosing the best possible
conditions to capture customer use.
Implementation:
- Centralization, homogenization and fusion of data from different
sources within a Data Mart.
- Data preparation.
- Modeling of the activities of the network of cash dispensers.
- Construction of a typology and elaboration of rules that allow
to determine the factors of success of the cash dispensers.
- Recommendations for the optimization of existing and new implantations.
